Preparation E3

Alright, E3 starts on Monday. Here’s what you should be doing to get ready for it.

  1. Be prepared to sit in front of a computer screen for at least 2-3 hours a day. That’s how much news, videos, and images will be releases. You’ll need to keep up with all of it.
  2. Tell any significant others to leave you alone while a demo is being shown. Your attention needs to be on the demo, not their needs.
  3. Get food that is really easy to make. Something with easy in the name. Like Easy Mac. If you can try to eat healthy, do it. Most likely, however, you’ll be stuck eating junk. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It is E3.
  4. Your schedule next week must be thought our differently. Everything has to be planned around E3, most importantly, the big 3 press conferences: Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. This is where most of the news comes from, and it’s also a good place for fanboys to start their whining or celebrations. Mostly whining.
  5. Bookmark all of the different sites that will be updating like crazy next week. We’re so nice that we giving you a few right now. Of course there are many more, but these are the ones we go to the most.
  6. Stock up on air fresheners. You’ll find out that you won’t have time for showers. It’s fine; they aren’t that important to begin with. For this week that is.

Well, that’s about everything you need to know to prepare for E3. Believe us, it’s going to rock. Or it will be better than last year’s bomb at least.

The Bunskies are out!!

What The Bunsky?!

First, if you know what The Bunskies are all about, you know that we can’t get enough of Modern Warfare 2. Well, after weeks of teaser trailers promoting another teaser trailer, the first full-length awesome trailer is finally here.

Modern Warfare 2

We told you it was awesome. Actually, awesome doesn’t even begin to describe it. The words I would use to attempt to explain the greatness of this trailer would get me banned from the blog. Just use you imagination. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about this, and dozens of other games, from the spectacle that is usually known as E3. I know I (Larry) will be at my computer for most of that week, so if I ignore anyone, sorry. :)

Last thing before I go play ping-pong with Kage. My friends showed part of this show to me over the weekend and I instantly fell in love with it. I’m talking about Glee. Rarely do I get excited about new T.V. shows, but this one had me gushing about it all weekend. Yes, there are things that need to be fixed, but I really hope this show is given the chance. I’m going to post the link of the show here. You can still download this show for free on iTunes.

Alright, that’s it for now. Bunskies are GO!!!

P.S. I’m new with all of this WordPress stuff, so hopefuly I’ll get better in time.

Taking Calls

Yesterday was the first successful attempt at patching a live Skype call into the Ex’Radio stream. There’s still a little testing to be done with our signal chain, but look for this to become a standard feature over the next few weeks. So if you don’t have Skype, go download it today! Cheers to Sunny and Andy for helping to make this a reality!

Indie Hour Re-Cap May 14, 2009

Mer Jew Minute: Chris compares The Hills and King of the Hill, about how the Hills is a derivative of it. Also, he misses yo-yos and hates on the yo-ball. Kevin chimed in about a guy playing guitar and yo-yoing at the same time.

Topics that were covered: KP from the Wallpaper Ninjas guest starred on the show today. Pris talked about the deliciousness of mixing wine and sprite. Contemplated a contest for a chance to win a date with Chris and Pris. Kevin was felt up by an old woman (who was beyond cougar status) at a coffee shop, because he looks like Josh Groban. Kevin jammed a little on the guitar and told a story about getting his ass kicked in ping pong by a 12 year old girl 21-0. Learned that Kevin’s uncle used to pick him up by the head. Also mystery of the day about an inside joke about beets that Pris can’t remember.

Indie Hour Re-Cap May 12, 2009

Hey everyone, it’s Pris, from Pris and Chris Indie Hour. Here are the highlights from our show on Tuesday.

MerJew Minute: Chris ranted about Maxwell still not having a dog and concluded that if he couldn’t have a dog, he should at least get a snake.

Topics that were covered during the show: Pris and Chris each wore animal masks, Pris posed as swine flu and Chris came up with the new giraffe flu. There was also an argument over recording techniques, with Chris being a hater on Pris’ choice in mixing. Pris decided to have a Half Moon Bay/ Blondie’s day, even if it’s by herself. “Maxwell Karon” guest star and performed a sand person call. Also, we learned that Maxwell only retains the chinese from his math class.

Ex’Radio Ambassadors

We’re proud to announce that for the first time in the history of Ex’Radio, students Sunny Mahil and Andy Hendriksen have assumed the position of Ex’Radio Ambassadors! They will be responsible for general scheduling, security, training, events, and more! We’re all really excited to see where they take things as Ex’Radio continues to grow and evolve. They can both be reached through exradio@expression.edu. Drop them a line to start your own involvement with the station or just to congratulate them on their new status!

Indie Hour Re-Cap

Hey ya’ll,

It’s Pris, from Chris and Pris, here to bring you the recap on what went down during the show today.

Mer-Jew Minute: Chris ranted about the facebook pirate layout which he learned about during math class. Pris ranted about Chris being a dream killer for not being adventurous enough to drive down to The ‘Lock to celebrate Warrior Day.

Here are the topics that we covered today: Cyanide/ eye drop poisoning, craigslist personals, The ‘Lock, Flight of the Concords, puppets, and I’m pretty sure the consensus was that the Chris version of Ice Cream is better than the original.

Add us on aim: digitalartsoup!! Then we can chat with you during the show.

Also, add me on last.fm: cupidkilledme!! Because I’m addicted. You will be too if you put the right amount of effort into it.

So, tune in next time and listen in as Pris attempts an online dating fiasco and Chris…. well, he’s pretty much just the face of the show.

Erase the hate, and go to the beach.

-Pris
