This video has been passed around recently and we think it has a very good message, especially for the students that go to Ex’pression. That’s why The Bunskies would like to share it with you. Hope you enjoy.
So we talked about these videos on tonights show. Here they are for you to enjoy.
Linkin Park:
Creed:
Of course there are more for people to look at, but we had the most fun looking at these.
—-The Bunskies
The Bunskies are now moving to Sunday’s @ 8pm! First show will be on August 9th.
We feel this will work better for both of us. Kage has drawing bootcamp next term, so we figured Sunday would be the best day. Also, Larry starts BRP soon.
Have a great break!
Love,
The Bunskies
OK, we’ve been talking about a lot of games that we were excited for. Of course, there are games that we will sadly overlook. Unfortunately, we don’t have time to cover everything. However, there is one game that we totally have neglected: Scribblenauts for the Nintendo DS. How we missed out on a gem like this, I don’t know, but at least we’re telling you about it now. It’s your typical 2D platforming-puzzle-action game (or something along those lines) with a twist; you write down whatever object you want to appear on the touch screen, and like magic, it’s in the game world. The amount of possibilities to complete something seem endless. I think it’s time for me to upgrade my DS. Not that I need to, but it’s a good excuse to do so now.

Kage (from The Bunskies) would like to know your opinion on if he should buy an electric drum kit or a PS3?
The reason I would get an electric drum kit instead of a real one is because of my current living situation, and they’re fun! I love drumming even though I have not been drumming for that long.
The PS3 is for pure entertainment purposes. There are a few PS3 exclusive games coming out in the near future that I would want to play or own. But I have some friends who own a PS3, so I could possibly go to their place and play.
Please, tell me what you think.
Wow. Just wow. E3 was amazing. After 2 years of trying to find itself, I think it’s finally returning to its former glory. I honestly wasn’t prepared for the amount of news and new releases that came out of this show, but I’m glad for every delicious piece of information that emerged. So what were The Bunskies favorite things from E3? Since there was so much stuff (and crap) that was discussed this week, Kage and I, Larry, will only list 3 of our favorites. Yes, I said 3 Kage. Don’t argue with me; just pick something.

- Metorid: Other M – Oh my god… Where the Samus did this come from? The Prime triology was amazing, and the re-releases of that trilogy for the Wii is great. That’s all I expected Nintendo to talk about this year. Behold, a new trailer and partnership with Team Ninja (Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden fame) showed off a brand-new, action-packed Samus. Sadly, it was just a trailer, so we’ll have to wait for sometime before people can get their hands on it. It might also anger some Metroid fans, since it seems to be a different style from the past. For me, as long as the game is good, and give me another chance to play as Samus, I’m happy.
- Project Natal - Microsoft didn’t really need to do anything special for this year’s E3. They were already making it clear that they were going to have a great lineup of games. Nabbing a Metal Gear Solid trailer, getting a demo of Final Fantasy XIII, showing off for the first time The Beatles: Rock Band (along with Ringo and Paul), and… well they did a lot. They really didn’t need to do much more to appease everyone. Boy, were we in for a surprise. At the end of their show, they finally unveiled the motion sensing camera project they have been working on. Although, it’s more that that. It’s also facial recognition, voice recognition, and other amazing stuff. Sure the whole PR trailer was one big cheese-fest and the jab at the Wii was totally uncalled for, but what they were showing off was truly amazing. The Peter Molyneux demo with Milo is something that will go down in E3 history. Let’s hope Microsoft and it’s 3rd-party publishers really push this thing to the max.
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves – Behold, the power of the PlayStation 3. Seeing this demo unfold brought a tear to my eye. OK, not really, but it is truly a gorgeous and cinematic game. Nathan Drake is back and better than ever, and has more moves, and witty remarks, than ever before. The scale of the game, the animation, the gameplay, and a host of other things have been improved. Naughty Dog (Jack and Daxter fame) have shown once again that they are a force to be reckoned with by creating software that clearly shows they can make games unlike any other. There’s also a screaming crowd that agrees with me on this. This is yet another reason for me to buy a PS3… or wait for Kage to buy his and just play with that.

- Modern Warfare 2: Beautiful. This game is going to rock, hands down. The story seems like it will be more intense with tons of action. I can’t wait till 11/10/09!
- Heavy Rain: Beautiful as well. I’m usually not into this type of a game, but I have a strong feeling this game is going to be superb. Huge script, and I can’t wait to play it more than once.
- Final Fantasy XIII: I am a big fan of FF7 and FF10, and this game seems to take the best from those two games and combine them to make one awesome Final Fantasy. I think the gameplay style will be promising. I like the overall feel of this game, and will be embracing my RPG love next year!
Alright, E3 starts on Monday. Here’s what you should be doing to get ready for it.
- Be prepared to sit in front of a computer screen for at least 2-3 hours a day. That’s how much news, videos, and images will be releases. You’ll need to keep up with all of it.
- Tell any significant others to leave you alone while a demo is being shown. Your attention needs to be on the demo, not their needs.
- Get food that is really easy to make. Something with easy in the name. Like Easy Mac. If you can try to eat healthy, do it. Most likely, however, you’ll be stuck eating junk. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It is E3.
- Your schedule next week must be thought our differently. Everything has to be planned around E3, most importantly, the big 3 press conferences: Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. This is where most of the news comes from, and it’s also a good place for fanboys to start their whining or celebrations. Mostly whining.
- Bookmark all of the different sites that will be updating like crazy next week. We’re so nice that we giving you a few right now. Of course there are many more, but these are the ones we go to the most.
- Stock up on air fresheners. You’ll find out that you won’t have time for showers. It’s fine; they aren’t that important to begin with. For this week that is.
Well, that’s about everything you need to know to prepare for E3. Believe us, it’s going to rock. Or it will be better than last year’s bomb at least.
The Bunskies are out!!
First, if you know what The Bunskies are all about, you know that we can’t get enough of Modern Warfare 2. Well, after weeks of teaser trailers promoting another teaser trailer, the first full-length awesome trailer is finally here.
Modern Warfare 2
We told you it was awesome. Actually, awesome doesn’t even begin to describe it. The words I would use to attempt to explain the greatness of this trailer would get me banned from the blog. Just use you imagination. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about this, and dozens of other games, from the spectacle that is usually known as E3. I know I (Larry) will be at my computer for most of that week, so if I ignore anyone, sorry.
Last thing before I go play ping-pong with Kage. My friends showed part of this show to me over the weekend and I instantly fell in love with it. I’m talking about Glee. Rarely do I get excited about new T.V. shows, but this one had me gushing about it all weekend. Yes, there are things that need to be fixed, but I really hope this show is given the chance. I’m going to post the link of the show here. You can still download this show for free on iTunes.
